Top Movie and TV Trailers to Watch From NYCC 2019

New York Comic Con is here and amid all the cool cosplay and celebrity panels, there is one more reason fans come back to the pop culture convention each year — the trailers.

From October 3 to 6, attendees will get the latest updates on anime, comics, video games, and entertainment. Over the next few days, Netflix, HBO, and more notable outlets are teasing footage for films, series, and more.

Here are all the top movie and TV trailers from NYCC 2019 that you don’t want to miss.

Manifest

Michaela, Ben and Cal will never experience life the same in Manifest Season 2: The series, which follows the return of the squad after their flight was missing for years, teases more secrets about their re-appearance.

Riverdale

Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead are celebrating their senior year in Riverdale Season 4. The season kicks off with an emotional tribute to Luke Perry and there are more secrets to be revealed when the show returns to The CW on October 9.

Rick and Morty

Rick and Morty’s fourth season is almost here and it promises more wacky sci-fi adventures. The animated series is returning to Adult Swim on November 1o.

Devs

A young software engineer investigates the top-secret development division of her workplace in the thrilling series Devs, which will debut on FX soon. When she finds out that her employer may be connected to her boyfriend’s death, she must put the pieces together before time runs out.

Snowpiercer

Earth is a frozen wasteland, forcing survivors to shield themselves from the cold on a turbulent train in Snowpiercer. This series, which stars Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs, premieres on TNT in spring 2020.

The Expanse

Political tensions between our planet, Mars, and the Belt are increasing in Season 4 of The Expanse. This hit sci-fi series returns to Amazon Prime Video on December 13.

Lost in Space 2

The Robinson Family is still surviving on an alien planet in Netflix’s Lost in Space 2: The sequel, which is coming to the streaming service on December 24, follows Will’s hunt for his missing robot buddy.

Marvel’s Runaways 

Marvel’s Runaways is returning for Season 3 and now, the squad has a new problem on their hands: When aliens may be inside their parents, they’re wondering if the darkest force of all may be among them. Marvel’s Runaways Season 3 premieres on December 13.

The Walking Dead Universe: Untitled New Series

Ten years after the start of the apocalypse…a new generation rises in The Walking Dead Universe’s untitled new series, which is coming in spring 2020. When a group of kids are done being safe, they venture out into the zombie-infested world to make a name out of themselves.

Star Trek: Discovery

Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 takes the crew further into the future..but will it be bright though? The third season of this sci-fi series is coming to CBS All Access soon.

The Walking Dead 

Training for the flesh-eaters? Let’s go. The Walking Dead is returning to AMC for its 10th season on October 6. Maybe fans will actually find out where Rick Grimes is, since he’s still reportedly missing.

Outlander

Season 5 of Outlander is on its way and The Frasers will have to battle time and history to stay together. Outlander Season 5 is coming to Starz on February 16, 2020.

Servant

A baby with cute leg rolls couldn’t be creepy, right? Well, think again: Apple TV+ is debuting Servantan eerie series executive produced by M. Night Shyamalan, on November 28. It follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning, as a mysterious force enters their home and disrupts their relationship.

Human Resources

Big Mouth won the hearts of many, and now, Netflix is launching another raunchy animated comedy called Human Resources. The series, which appears to take place in a fantasy world, is coming to the streaming service soon.

The King’s Man

The first independent intelligence agency goes to war with the world’s worst baddies in the thrilling movie The King’s Man. The movie, which stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, and Rhys Ifans, premieres in theaters this February.

1917

Two young British soldiers are tasked to prevent a World War I massacre in the film 1917, which is hitting theaters in December. Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) embark on a life-threatening mission to deliver a critical message before time runs out.

His Dark Materials

Lyra Belacqua travels to parallel universes in HBO’s chilling fantasy series His Dark Materials. Along the way, she’ll use an alethiometer, an advanced truth-telling device, to help find her missing friend.
